Childhood and Adolescence are   beautiful, and also difficult times of transition. Therapy can help young people process wounds, and develop self-regulation and relationship skills that are essential to healthy adult relationships and self-esteem. I am a Registered Play Therapist. I use Child-Centered Play Therapy, which allows me to attune to the young person and follow their lead through the session. 

There are few things more painful than being isolated from the ones you love. Therapy helps us to identify the negative cycles that are making you and your partner feel stuck. Together, we will identify cycles, heal wounds, and create healthier ways of connecting. I am certified in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, and Emotional Focused Family Therapy, rated by the American Counseling Association as the Gold Standard for therapeutic intervention. 

Trauma occurs when our bodies endure an experience that is too much for our systems to cope with. Trauma disrupts our ability to connect with others or feel safe within our bodies. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which helps to metabolize and move past painful events in a systemic, compassionate, and respectful way. I am also trained in Adaptive Integrative Therapy, a gentle and thorough trauma modality
